Lil’ Wayne upstages Bow Wow by getting top billing in the movie creds. The movie poster will list Lil Wayne as one of the main actors in the film, titled “Hurricane Season,” and hits theaters nationwide on Christmas Day. Although Bow Wow has more experience, Wayne jacked the spotlight and with his recent record sales and hype - He is officially the "bigger man".
Hurricane Season, which features Forest Whitaker, Lil Wayne, Isaiah Washington, Taraji Henson and fellow rapper Bow Wow tells the true story of five basketball players in Marrero, Louisiana from different high schools, who end up on the same basketball team one year after Hurricane Katrina.
Weezy is excited and had this to say, "With all the tragedy that my home has suffered these last few years since Katrina, I was glad to see that someone wanted to show that through everything New Orleans also has some positive things going on,” Lil Wayne said. “I am also very happy that Hurricane Season is not only my first major part in a motion picture movie, but a movie about where I grew up.”
Forest Whittaker must be shaking his head, “How did I go from Last King Of Scotland to starring next to Weezy?"
