“It’s a new dawn, it’s a new day”. Black artist, hip hop artist and R&B artist have been on full display for the world to see in the past few days; And not to receive an award but to perform on behalf of the President of the Free World.
A new day has dawn for corporate America; the President has given his stamp of approval on hip-hop. Expect a surge in endorsement deals that goes beyond what corporate America thinks black people are into and welcome the era of a new lifestyle. The Maserati, premium liquor, luxury hotels. you name it - it will become about an aspirational lifestyle. Oh my how times have changed. And it's a beautiful thing.
