Yung Berg eating up Carmelo Anthony's money??

Yung Berg is just really bad at making friends these days. In case you don't know, the rapper was recently punked by Detroit emcee Trick Trick and had his chain stolen. Pictures of various members of Trick Trick's entourage (including his little daughter) posing with the chain appeared on the internet. Berg instantly became the butt of quite a few jokes (does that deserve a no homo? If so...No Homo).

The kid had a massive hit in 2006 called "Sexy Lady" that took off without the promotion or backing of a major label. He eventually signed to Epic and in a desperate attempt to get some product in the market place, the label put out an EP to assist in creating some revenue for Berg. While it didn't exactly bring in the cash, it did hold over some fans for a time. Unfortunately, Yung Berg began to feel that he had something prove and started to take shots at other rappers who he claimed were not giving him the respect he was due.

So just this last summer, Berg released his debut album titled "Look What you Made Me" (obviously a swipe at the haters) and the album topped out at 86,000 in sales. Since then, Berg has been looking for a chance to get an edge on his competition and grow his fan base. He eventually hooked up with Denver Nuggets superstar Carmelo Anthony's Krossover Entertainment (Real original....we know) for a promotional and semi-managerial partnership. Krossover would incur the majority of the costs that Berg would bring in and on the back end, Krossover would get a percentage of his revenue. It's a basic deal with certain splits to certain parties, right? Not really that complicated.

Well, now we are hearing from someone inside the Krossover camp that Berg isn't being exactly forthcoming with his income and splits to Krossover. Apparently, Berg is racking up a high level of cost for the company, but not necessarily providing the proper back end percentage to Krossover. The costs that he is racking up includes lavish bills for hotel rooms, alcohol, room service, car rentals and more while Berg is on the road doing shows. What do you really expect? The kid isn't really on his business grind the way he should be. You really think he is going to be turning in the correct invoices to Krossover and making sure everything is correct and accurate? Neither do we. Anyone who thought so is a moron. At this time, Krossover is trying to find a resolution to the problem to make it work, but our source tells us they are close to giving up.

The crazy thing is, Carmelo really doesn't give a damn. Dude is making almost $20 million a year. You think he might trip out over $100,000? We doubt it.

Is Yung Berg just young and reckless? Or is he showing blatant disrespect to someone who helped put him on and supported him?
