Ex Black Panther to be set free after 37 Years



Ex Black Panther, Alfred Woodfox became known as one of the "Angola Three" after trying to expose segregation in the Louisiana prison system and spending three decades in solitary confinement.

Earlier this week, a Louisiana state judge overturned the former Black Panther's conviction for the murder which has kept him locked up for the past 37 years.
Woodfox says he was framed by prison officials because he used his Black Panther membership to fight for prison reform. If you don't believe that is was possible for the police to wrongfully accuse a Panther for freedom fighting, then you need to watch the video on J. Edgar Hoover right here.
