I’m going to take a wild guess and say that Mos Def will be happy when this year is over. Currently, Mos Def is being sued by his own lawyers who helped grant his divorce from his “tell-all” book writing ex-wife for $60,000 of unpaid fees. Prior to this lawsuit, Mos had a warrant out for his arrest in Las Vegas because he ripped a vicious photog’s camera from his neck and smashed it to the ground! And you know how happy paparazzi is to report a misbehaving celebrity to the police.
At least Mos Def can look on the bright side, he is starring in the well reviewed movie, Cadillac Records, then again it did tank at the box office. Hmm, is there a bright side here? Alas, his fourth solo album titled Ecstatic will be out April, 2009. In the meantime, keep your head up Def!
