She was the first lady of G-Unit Records....and ended up being the only lady of G-Unit records. While she was initially signed to J Records from 2000 until 2004, releasing her debut album titled "Olivia" but the album failed to catch any fire and she was eventually dropped by the label. When 50 finally blew up, he took the opportunity to snatch her up and sign her to G-Unit. Once that happened, she became one of his top priorities appearing on the first single for his sophomore album. Then....she was again featured on another single with 50 off the "Get Rich or Die Tryin' Soundtrack" with the song "Best Friend". Everything seemed to be coasting along but then everything changed in 2006.
In the spring of 2006, 50 began to push Olivia as the next project from G-Unit with several singles. She and 50 made a remix to "Best Friend" which was slated to appear on her album, but the track failed to catch fire. Then she attempted to use the track "So Sexy" which didn't even chart. The album eventually got pushed back several times until 50 eventually decided that the best thing to do was to shelve the album and drop the artist. Upon asking for his reasoning, 50 said it was merely a creative decision and that Olivia wasn't really using the resources she had. We took that as she wasn't taking advice in terms of song making and he decided the album wouldn't sell with the direction that she was headed in.
Since then, Olivia hasn't been heard from or even seen in the public. She has become a ghost and basically vanished off the face of the earth. No label is willing to pick her up because lets face it....if 50 Cent can't make her hot....who in the hell can? At the time when 50 was pushing her hard (Insert sexual joke here, haha) he was the biggest star on the planet, and the lack of response that she got then made labels apprehensive of even thinking about investing in such an artist.
So how is she paying the bills and even making a living? Well one of our snitches in the G-Unit camp told us that while it had been nearly a year since 50 and Olivia had spoken, Olivia recently reached out to 50 in an attempt to repair some burnt bridges. Her attempt was pretty crystal clear as our source tells us that Olivia eventually came at Fif' looking to borrow some paper in order to pay the bills and be able to feed her family. While it's unclear how much she asked for and whether or not 50 even gave the money to her, it is clear that NO MATTER WHAT, Olivia is doubtful to ever appear on another G-Unit related release.
Do you think Fif' gave her the money? And was it spineless of her to go back to 50 looking for money?
