January 19, 2009. Remember last year when MediaTakeOut.com told you that there was beef between R&B singers Keyshia Cole and Mary J Blige and some of y’all ain’t believe us. Oh you forgot, well let us refresh your recollection)Anyhow, MediaTakeOut.com heard that over the past week the drama between the two ladies was ratcheting up. And it ended up with Mary getting Keyshia BANNED from singing at this weekend’s BET Honors celebration.Here’s how the NY Daily News is reporting it:There was drama behind a tribute to Blige. Word is that producers had planned to have Keyshia Cole sing one of Blige’s songs, but Blige’s manager/husband Kendu Isaac would hear none of it.“He thought there was already too much comparison between Keyshia and Mary,” a spy tells us. “They were going back and forth on it all week. It got ugly.”
