January 05, 2009. Kelly Rowland and Solange Knowles used to be the best of friends … now, that’s all changed. MediaTakeOut.com has learned that for weeks, the two ladies have been engaged in a bitter war of words.According to one of MediaTakeOut.com’s snitches, the feud starting brewing this fall when Solange was chosen over her to perform at the televised “Fashion Rocks” concert – alongside Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Rihanna and Mary J Blige. The insider explained, “Kelly feels that Solange and her career are getting preferential treatment from [management].”Both Solange and Kelly are managed by Solange’s father Mathew Knowles.And the bad blood simmered into an explosive telephone conversation a few weeks before Christmas. The insider told MediaTakeOut.com, “Kelly just put it all out there, and told Solange exactly how she felt – and it was ugly ... yelling and everything.”And since the reported blow up, the ladies haven’t been seen out together – despite being in the same city during a number of high profile events. Tells the insider, “They’re both here [in Miami] but they’ve been avoiding each other.”
