December 01, 2008. MediaTakeOut.com just learned that William Balfour, the brother-in-law to actress Jennifer Hudson was OFFICIALLY charged today with her family's murder.
Balfour had been in custody since the night after the bodies of Jennifer's mother brother and nephew were found in their Chicago home. Police reportedly have the gun Balfour used to commit the heinous murderers. And according to one MediaTakeOut.com, he reportedly CONFESSED to being at the scene of the crime to his former girlfriend.
Unfortunately, Illinois doesn't have the death penalty - so this dude won't be executed for his crimes. Balfour faces life imprisonment if he's convicted of the murder charges.
