The battle for number one on the Billboard 200 goes to Kanye West with “808s & Heartbreak”. Though “808s” sold only 450,000 copies compared to 957,000 for “Graduation”, it’s still a good look for Ye’ considering the economy and artists galore (50 this means you) are pushing back their album release dates. Kanye left his competition in his dust with the #2 album only selling 267,000 – and no, it’s not Luda. Beyonce’s “I am…Sasha Fierce” held some ground at #4 selling 257,000 – Where is Luda - At #5 selling 213,000 copies. It may have been it Luda’s best interest to stir up a 50 type feud with Kanye, but alas he chose the ‘nice’ boy route…and look where it got him.
