Eminem Gives T.I and Lil Wayne His Approval

Eminem took a hiatus from Hip Hop for a few years but the self proclaimed problem child is back with a new album, “Relapse”. In an XXL interview Em said that he stayed connected to what was happening in the hip hop space and felt it was “"going downhill - kinda fast" with everyone only caring “about the hook and the beat.” He had this to say about T.I and Lil Wayne keeping hip hop afloat:

"But with this new TI album, with this new Lil Wayne album of recent, it seems like things are looking a lot better now. You can appreciate Lil Wayne using different words to rhyme and actually rhyming words that you know. Or TI, where you hear s**t and you're like Whoa, ah, I wish I would have thought of that! You know what I mean? Or you hear all the compound-syllable rhyming and all that. It just seems like now the craft is getting cared about more.”

Is Eminem in your top 5 or top 10? Is he really that relevant to speak on whose keeping hip-hop alive while he’s away?

A TV Show about Solange Knowles?

Solange Knowles is still the ultimate loser to me. Her singing career is done...hopefully and now she's on to acting. (sigh). Currently Mara Brock Akil is developing a show based on the reality of Solange's life.

"I used to say yes to every acting project but now it’s important that I only take on projects that will maker me think and grow and will motivate and inspire others."

That show will be quick and booooorrrrrinnnnng: Show run down: Spends entire life in sisters shadow, rebels and has teen pregnancy, tries a whack rock and roll career, season ends because no one is interested in the rest of the story.

Nas Wants You To Name His Son

Nas is having trouble coming up with baby names for his unborn son and is actually thinking about opening it up to the public saying, "Yeah, (we are deciding between) a few baby names. It's kinda hard. I've been thinking about kinda putting something online: 'Choose his name'. You get a couple stacks (financial reward) for that. We take care of you for that. You win something real. But we're thinking now."

Seriously Nas, in a recession you would pay people “stacks” to name your son. Some advice: save it because neither you nor Kelis have big things popping and kids cost money!
